About Us

Rare Gems Literary Society's mission is to expand our literary experience by learning about the world through the lens of a book's author and from the experience of its characters.  We believe the diversity of our opinions, ideas and backgrounds are reflected in the books we select.  Being socially aware, we aim to work in our community to give more people access to books and the oppurtunity to read them.
